Browns Restaurant Group Opens First Restaurant in Eastern Canada, One of Five New Restaurants in Six Week Period
Browns Restaurant Group is proud to announce the opening of the first Browns Socialhouse in Ontario, spearheading our franchise’s expansion into Eastern Canada. Located in the Erin Mills community of Mississauga, this new location will act as a regional training facility for new franchisees. Earlier in 2014, Browns Restaurant Group opened our Langley Centre, BC Browns Socialhouse which acts as the Western Canada training location in addition to housing our always busy test kitchen.
Dale Colbran, our Director of Business Development for Eastern Canada says “the Erin Mills Browns Socialhouse showcases our proven small footprint model in communities where there is untapped demand for a premium, casual dining concept. Every Browns Socialhouse is designed to promote socializing, as this is an important part of our brand”.
Our new Erin Mills location consists off 4,100 square feet of restaurant space with the Browns Socialhouse’s signature masculine meets feminine interior design style. This unique look is showcased through features such as live edge social tables, a signature skull wall, craftsman ceramic tile inlay, Edison bulbs, Vegas limestone archways with our branded crest and tile-framed mirrors throughout the interior of the restaurant.
2014 is ending with a bang, as we just completed a whirlwind five openings in the last six weeks. The additional locations include Lethbridge West, Okotoks, Maple Ridge, Kildonan Green and Erin Mills and now place a Browns Socialhouse in five provinces (and all of Western Canada). With our most recent opening of Browns Socialhouse Kildonan Green in Winnipeg, Manitoba there are now 32 Socialhouses across Canada (and growing).
We’d like to take this time to thank every one who helped make these new restaurants a reality. Without the hard work of our amazing realtors, design team, contractors, regional trainers, dedicated and passionate franchisees and every single Browns employee such an exciting year would have never been possible.
